Initiating Organization Engineering District 11-0 Agreement Type: Project Specific 100% State Funded: No Services Requested: Design and Misc Services The anticipated date of selection for this agreement is 2/11/2026, with a NTP on the first part anticipated for 03/16/2026. Part 1 Location Description State Route/Section Allegheny County 0008/A85 Part Name: PE for SR 0008, Section A85 Project Description: Preliminary engineering services for the rehabilitation of the 62nd Street Bridge, SR 0008 Section A85, and associated northbound and southbound ramp structures (BRKEY 488, 491, and 492) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County. Design services may include, but not be limited to: quality development plan, research of background drawings/information and required permits, ASTA scheduling, field survey, bridge inspection/analysis for design purposes, public involvement and third party coordination, environmental documentation, preliminary E&S control plan, right-of-way (ROW) investigation and preliminary plan preparation, railroad coordination, utility coordination, constructability/maintainability review, safety review, line and grade, design field view (DFV), preliminary type, size, and location (TS&L), preliminary drainage, preliminary maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT) evaluation, and construction cost estimates. Anticipated NTP: 03/16/2026 Project Time: Day Time Part 2 Location Description State Route/Section Allegheny County 0008/A85 Part Name: FD for SR 0008, Section A85 Project Description: Final design services may include, but not be limited to: quality development plan, preparing and securing approval for all required permits, ASTA pre-bid construction schedule, supplemental survey, public involvement and third party coordination, potential for right-of-way negotiation and acquisition services, railroad coordination, utility coordination, constructability/maintainability review, safety review, final TS&L, construction cost estimates, final plans (roadway, cross sections, E&S, ROW, structure, traffic control, signing and pavement marking, etc.), and a plans, specifications & estimate (PS&E) package. Anticipated NTP: 12/15/2027 Project Time: Day Time Part 3 Location Description State Route/Section Allegheny County 0008/A85 Part Name: Services during Construction for SR 0008-A85 Project Description: Description: Services during construction include, but are not limited to: Shop drawing review, preparation of as-built drawings, and consultation during construction. Anticipated NTP: 08/01/2029 Project Time: Day Time Part 4 Location Description State Route/Section Allegheny County 0008/A85 Part Name: Other Administrative Activities for SR 0008-A85 Project Description: Other administrative activities as directed by the project manager for unforeseen work that could arise during the final stages of project development. Anticipated NTP: 12/1/2027 Project Time: Day Time The goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation in this agreement shall be 0 of the total agreement cost. Cost included in a DBE firm's price proposal as direct cost of work and services by others shall not count as DBE participation in this agreement, unless completed by a DBE firm.
