Nashville is requesting qualifications and proposals for an Engineering Firm to provide pre-and post-award services for community and economic development projects. Services include preliminary engineering reports, planning, design, cost estimating, bidding, contracting, construction oversight ,quality control, and closeout. The City needs major Public Infrastructure Improvements ,including water ,sewer, street paving, and drainage, and is considering applying for funding through the Community Development Block Grant(CDBG)Annual Competition ,Employee Incentive Program (EIP), Redevelopment Fund(RDF), and Immediate Threat and Danger(ITAD) programs through the Georgia Department of Community Affairs(DCA).S election will be based on qualifications related to community and economic development needs. All contracts are subject to Federal and State requirements. Selection may allow the chosen firm to provide services for future projects based on grant funding. The City may accept or reject any proposal and waive informalities.This project is subject to Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968.Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply.The City complies with all applicable civil rights and accessibility laws and provides equal access regardless of race, color, national origin ,religion, sex, familial status, disability,or age. Selection of an Engineer for the project will be based on qualifications as they relate to community and economic development needs. All contracts are subject to Federal and State contract provisions prescribed by the Georgia DCA. Selection could allow your firm to provide pre- and post-award Engineering Services for future community and economic development projects for a limited time period based on the funding of the grant.
