Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Nashville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,000-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility.

The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the EMS/911 Design Build Project. This includes the construction of a 50'x100' metal building with a finished interior as specified in the appendix of the Bidding Documents, and associated measures for a complete project. The time allotted for completion of work is 210 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion, and the work must be ready for contract close-out within 224 consecutive calendar days. All work must be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications and will be awarded as one contract. Any contractor submitting a bid must be a licensed General Contractor in the State of Georgia, with the license number written on the face of the bid envelope. Prequalification may be required, involving submission of detailed financial data, bonding capacity, previous experience, and other such data if requested. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified cashier's check in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. All contractors and subcontractors must register and participate in the federal work authorization program (E-Verify or equivalent). The Bidder's Affidavit of Compliance with Georgia's statutory requirements is mandatory for bid consideration. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and re-advertise as needed.
