The Knox County Nursing Home is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide professional floor care services for a long-term care facility. The purpose is to establish a contract with a reliable, experienced provider to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in compliance with healthcare standards. The contractor will be responsible for routine services including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, spot cleaning, dust mopping, damp mopping of hard floors, carpet vacuuming, spot treatment, and trash removal in designated areas. Periodic services include stripping, sealing, waxing VCT floors, burnishing/buffing, deep cleaning of carpets, tile and grout cleaning, and floor disinfecting as required by healthcare infection control standards. Special services required as needed include emergency floor cleaning, post-construction cleanup, and seasonal floor maintenance schedules. The anticipated contract term is one year, with an option to renew based on performance and mutual agreement.
