Reference Number 0000404991 This project includes the installation of a new carbon dioxide storage and feed system, construction of new raw water irrigation pumps and supply piping, installation of new sodium hydroxide feed piping and appurtenances and installation of an FIC manway hatch. Each Bid shall be accompanied by an appropriate guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. In addition, the bid guarantee shall be accompanied in the same file as the bid. The estimated cost for this project is from $3,160,000.00 to $3,470,000.00. The Contract Documents require that "Initial Tie-in" be complete by April 15, 2026 and all work be Substantially Complete by August 1, 2026 with Final Completion by September 1, 2026. Failure to complete the work as prescribed shall be considered as a Breach of Contract and subject to Liquidated Damages which are $800.00 per day *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall notify Amie Drucker, Project Manager, at adrucker@auroragov.org, and to Brian Hancock at bhancock@auroragov.org. Emailed questions shall contain the project name and number in the email subject line, and must be received no later than 2:00 p.m., local time, December 10, 2025. The Project has assigned certain responsibilities related to this Agreement to a Project Manager. The Project Manager will assume all duties and responsibilities, and have the rights and authority assigned to Project Manager in the Contract Documents in connection with the completion of the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Project Manager will be a City of Aurora (Owner) employee and will also be referred to as the City Project Representative. Initial Tie-in Date-Shall be no Later than April 15, 2026 in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
