Reference Number 0000405014 Work performed under this contract involved filling gaps in the existing sidewalk network in the City of Aurora. The City has identified seven (7) locations of missing sidewalk gaps in Arapahoe and Adams Counties along arterial streets and collector streets that will be constructed under this project. The new sidewalks will be constructed according to the City of Aurora's current standards, to the extent where practicable, where applicable, landscaped separation between sidewalks and roads, and appropriate cross slopes for drainage. Associated ADA ramps will also be constructed. The Contractor shall perform unforeseen work, for which there is no price included in the Contract, whenever the extra work is necessary or desirable for contract completion. This work shall be performed per the Contract and as directed and will be paid for as provided under CDOT Standard Specification subsection 109.04. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Each Bid shall be accompanied by the provided Bid Bond form, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid. Original bid bond does not have to be delivered to the City; however, each bidder should maintain the original on file should the City request it at a later time.
