Surfaces not specifically excluded shall be painted, whether new or old. B. Work not included: Unless otherwise indicated, painting of the following surfaces will not be required. 1. Metal surfaces of anodized aluminum, stainless steel, chromium plate, copper, bronze and similar non-ferrous materials. 2. Do not paint over required labels or equipment identification, performance rating, name, or nomenclature plates.
