The City of Marlborough invites sealed bids from contractors for the Fort Meadow Dam Maintenance project. The work consists of performing dam maintenance activities which include tree and stump removal, clearing and grubbing of vegetation and debris, and construction of a rip rap channel within the stream bed to restore proper flow and prevent erosion. The work also includes installation of temporary access and erosion controls required for construction. Upon completion, all disturbed areas must be loamed, seeded, and restored to preconstruction condition or better. Estimated project cost is approximately $200,000.
