The work consists of all engineering, design, fabrication, testing, packaging, and delivery of miscellaneous pumps and their accessories, including manufacturer field services at the job site. The Project consists of: Adding one (1) new simple cycle power plant at the Louis "Doc" Bonin Generating Plant. The simple cycle plant primary fuel will be Natural Gas. 1. Louis "Doc" Bonin Generating Plant: a. One (1) F-Class gas turbine generator (GTG) with a generator rating of 280 MVA. B. The majority of Equipment will be located outdoors. Equipment specified as being located outdoors shall be adequately designed for and protected from the elements. C. All Work shall be designed to meet the design data specified in Appendix 01 11 00-A General Design Parameters. Bid security must be a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, with electronic copies of the front and back of the check or bond included if submitting electronically. All bids must be signed with evidence of authority, and each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the base bid plus alternates. The successful bidder must execute performance and labor/material payment bonds in the full contract amount. Bidders are encouraged to include Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in their bids. Questions regarding bid documents are to be directed as indicated, and bidders are encouraged to confirm their intent to bid upon receipt of the invitation to bid.
