Site work, renovation and addition to a medical facility in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the addition of a one-story above grade medical facility; and one-story above grade medical facility.
The additions to Asbury Hospice House include a new stand-alone pharmacy building, a covered outdoor connecting breezeway, a pavilion for activities located behind the existing facility, and some interior renovations as indicated on the drawings. A single lump sum contract shall be let for the complete work described in the bidding documents. Bids shall be submitted in duplicate only on the blank bid forms provided with the project manual and must include bid security in the form of a certified check or acceptable bid bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid. Bid security shall be forfeited by a bidder who is awarded the contract but fails to execute the contract and post the required performance and payment bonds. All bids must comply with applicable requirements, and the Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. PROJECT DESCRIPTION THE ADDITIONS TO ASBURY HOSPICE HOUSE INCLUDE A NEW STAND-ALONE PHARMACY BUILDING, COVERED OUTDOOR CONNECTING BREEZEWAY, PAVILION FOR ACTIVITIES LOCATED BEHIND THE EXISTING FACILITY, AND SOME INTERIOR RENOVATIONS AS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS. CONTRACTING ARRANGEMENT: A SINGLE LUMP SUM CONTRACT SHALL BE LET FOR THE COMPLETE WORK DESCRIBED IN THE BIDDING DOCUMENTS.
