Reference Number 0000405101 The owners are soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide construction services to renovate the facade of 407 E. Dominick Street in Rome, NY. Commercial facade improvements to building exterior - Construction/Contracting. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. *The City of Rome reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposals deemed to be in its best interest. A. EIFS FACADE o See attached drawings. Contractor to provide layout drawings and details for Architect's review prior to installation. o Remove existing metal roof edge along top of masonry walls. o Clean & prep existing masonry per EIFS manufacturer's instructions. o Install EIF System on entire front facade facing Dominick Street, side facade facing Byrnes Avenue, and side facade facing 2 nd Street, as shown in drawings. Install per manufacturer's instructions & standard details. o EIF System to be Dryvit Outsulation Plus MD, or equal, with drainage track at base termination & Aqua Flash at all openings & parapet. EIF drainage system includes air/water-resistive barrier coating, adhesive, 1" EPS insulation board, base coat, reinforcing mesh, base coat, and finish. o Provide TerraNeo specialty finish, color Vesuvius #206 with adjustments to aggregate to reduce blue stones and add black stones. Color to be approved by Owner prior to installation. o Coordinate attachment of four (4) wall-mounted lights. o Provide decorative cornice at top of walls and trim at window head & still around six (6) windows and at head of two (2) doors. o Provide decorative EIFS cornice at top of two walls to be finished with cultured stone. o Install new roof flashing & aluminum roof edge/coping per details. Black & white finishes as indicated in drawings. Caulk all joints. o Finish base of wall with bent aluminum flashing; color black. o Provide manufacturer's standard warranty on EIF System. B. LIGHTING o Install and energize four (4) exterior wall-mounted linear LED light fixtures. o Fixtures will be furnished by the Owner o Provide 1 switch inside commercial entry for lights - location to be determined by Owner. o Provide all electrical work as needed with third party (rough and final) inspection reports. All products shall be reviewed and approved by the City of Rome and the Owner, prior to installation. C. SIGNAGE o Install Owner-furnished building name & number signs on cultured stone veneer. o All products shall be reviewed and approved by the City of Rome and the Owner prior to installation.
