The City of Bismarck requests written qualification proposals from interested professional architectural service firms with capabilities required for the planning design services required under a multi-year basis for the Bismarck Airport. Projects will include, but are not limited to the airport terminal expansion, all that it may entail, as listed in the Bismarck Airport approved Master Plan and Capital Improvement Plan as they are and may be amended. Qualification proposals for the above work shall be keyed to the firm's ability to perform the necessary service (for example, 1. Technical capabilities, 2. Experience and performance records, 3. Understanding of project and proposed work approach, 4. Knowledge of regulation and local conditions, 5. Project personnel assignments and qualifications, 6. Ability to respond in. a timely manner). A basic contract will be negotiated with the successful architectural firm on a project-by-project basis. All contracts involving grant funds from the Federal Aviation Administration will be subject to FAA approval. The City will make grant applications to the FAA. The architectural firm selected will be required to comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations and the Airport's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Plan. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
