Site work for a mixed-use development in Lawton, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade municipal facility; and one-story above grade religious / funeral development.
Porter Township is requesting bid proposals for snow removal at the Porter Township Hall premises, at 88040 M-40 Highway, Lawton, Michigan. Each sealed proposal shall include bids for: 1) Township Hall parking lots - Snow removal is required for each snow event with a minimum of 1 inch accumulation, and every additional 1 inch thereafter, with de-icer applied as needed. Snow from wind drifting in excess of 1½ inches and any ice accumulation must also be treated with de-icer. All snow removal and de-icer applications must be performed prior to 8:00 a.m. and repeated as necessary to keep accumulations below 1½ inches during hours of operation (24/7). Accessibility for all mailboxes, overhead doors, and dumpsters must be ensured. No sand or equivalent products are allowed as deicer. Sidewalks are excluded due to an existing snow melt system. Preference may be given to local residents or businesses at the Board’s discretion. 2) Township cemeteries - Snow removal is required for each event with a minimum of 4 inches of snow at Chamberlin Cemetery and Kern Cemetery, and as needed for funerals. Local preference may be considered. Proposals are due at Porter Township Hall or via email to the Clerk. Cost per time for snow removal and salt/de-icer must be specified.
