The Southeast Monmouth Municipal Utilities Authority requests the solicitation of bids for the supply and delivery of Water System Repair Supplies for use by the Southeast Monmouth Municipal Utilities Authority and participating members, including Wall Township, Borough of Brielle, Sea Girt, Spring Lake Heights, and Spring Lake, as detailed in the Bid Specifications and Bid Proposal Forms. The proposed contract is for one year, with a one-year renewal option. Bids must be made and submitted on the standard proposal forms in the manner specified and in accordance with the specifications. All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and clearly labeled “Bid for Water System Repair Supplies.” Emailed or faxed bids will not be accepted. Sealed envelopes are to be addressed to Stephen Mayer, Chief Financial Officer, Southeast Monmouth Municipal Utilities Authority. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, a Certificate of Surety, and a Business Registration Certificate as set forth in the specifications. Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including Affirmative Action, Public Works Contractor Registration, and Prevailing Wages if applicable. Compliance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 as well as submission of a valid Business Registration Certificate issued by the State of New Jersey (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44) are required. Bidders are advised of the responsibility to comply with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.13.
