Renovation of a municipal facility in Randolph, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
Replacement of exterior trim on the Municipal Building located at 72 Main St. Randolph, NY 14772. Sealed bids should be plainly marked Municipal Building Exterior Trim Replacement. Bid packets will be available at the Town Clerk's office at 72 Main St. Randolph, NY 14772. Bids will be accepted at the town clerk's office at 72 Main St. Randolph, NY 14772 until 1 p.m. on December 10th, 2025 and will be opened the evening of December 10th, 2025 at the Town board meeting. The Town of Randolph has the right to accept or reject any or all bids deemed most advantageous to the town. The Town of Randolph reserves the right to extend the bid to other municipalities, qualifying agencies or political subdivisions set forth under NYGML. All bids must have a Non-Collusive bidding certificate and waiver of immunity form. Exterior Trim Replacement (Municipal Building) Scope of Work 1. Obtain building permit 2. Install composite trim (Boral TruExterior or Equal) on all window and door trim, column wraps, and band board. 3. All trim will be fastened with concrete anchors and construction adhesive 4. Painting of the trim will be completed by the Town. 5. Removal of old trim will be completed by the Town. 6. The driveways, parking lot, and building entrances shall be protected from debris during construction. The Contractor is responsible for safely conducting his operations to protect the employees using the building. The Municipal Building is open the following hours: Mon. 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; Tues, Wed, & Fri . 8:30am to 3:30 pm; and Thurs. 8:30am to 6:00pm The Contractor shall repair at its expense any damage caused by its operations. Contractor parking and materials storage areas shall be approved by the Town. 7. During the progress of the work, the Contractor shall conduct his operations and provide adequate pollution controls to minimize the creation and dispersion of noise, odors, dust, dirt, mud, and/or debris within and beyond the site. The Contractor shall protect the building from water intrusion during the project. 8. All building materials and installation must be met by the Town of Randolph local building codes. 9. Perform final job site cleaning and remove all job debris from site. Pick up any remaining nails using magnets. 10. Provide written contractor's and manufacturer's warranties. All questions shall be submitted by email to the town highway superintendent, Cody Uhl (highway@randolphny.gov). All questions will be answered by email. Any questions after 10:00 am on Tuesday December 9th, 2025 will not be answered.
