Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Dublin, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
The Laurens County School District is seeking proposals from construction firms to provide services using the Construction Management at Risk delivery method for the New East Laurens Elementary School and Middle School Athletic Complex located in East Dublin, GA. The project will include site development, a new elementary school building, and an athletic complex for middle school athletics, with an approximate budget of $40,000,000.00. All responses must be submitted in a sealed package marked "New East Laurens Elementary School and Middle School Athletic Complex – Construction Professional." Ten hard copies and one electronic copy (PDF format on a CD Rom) of each proposal must be delivered to Altman + Barrett Architects at the specified address. Oral, telegraphic, FAX, or email responses are not acceptable. The District will select the most qualified and responsive construction firm to enter into a Construction Management at Risk contract based on evaluation of all required submittals and, if necessary, interviews. Only one contracting firm will be engaged through this process.
