The project consists of renovations to the Hickory Knob Golf Course, an 18-hole championship course located at Hickory Knob State Resort Park in McCormick County, South Carolina. The scope of work involves the rejuvenation of all course bunkers with new sand due to reasons such as age, usage, weather effects, erosion, and drainage problems, which have impacted the existing bunkers. Established in 1982, Hickory Knob Golf Course is a picturesque, 18-hole championship course designed by Tom Jackson. The course is cut through a pine forest along the shores of scenic Lake Thurmond at Hickory Knob State Resort Park in McCormick County South Carolina. Due to age, use, effects of weather, erosion, drainage problems and other reasons the bunkers have reached a point in their life cycle for rejuvenation with new sand in all bunkers.
