Through this solicitation for bids, the Forest Preserve District of Cook County ("District") requests Bids from responsible Venders with brick-and-mortar facilities to supply tools, hardware and lumber. Question Deadline 12/03/2025 at 5:00 PM CT During the Bid process, all inquiries must be directed in writing and emailed to the District's Purchasing Department as follows: Attention: James DePino, Assistant to the Director of Procurement Email: fpd.purchasing@cookcountyil.gov The term of the Contract awarded under this Invitation for Bid shall be for one (1) year from the District's full acceptance of the Bid. The District reserves the right to renew the resulting Contract for a total of one (1) year. Any renewal shall be subject to the same terms and conditions as the original Contract unless otherwise stated. The Contract may not renew automatically, nor may the Contract renew solely at the Vendor's option. The District reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities as needed, with a cost not to exceed $25,000 The right is reserved to reject any and all Bids and to waive any formality in the submitted Bids. Bidders cannot limit the acceptance of Bid to less than ninety (90) calendar days. Bidder agrees to be bound to the terms of its Bid for a period of at least ninety (90) days after the proposal date. The Bidder shall abide by its quoted pricing and the terms of its proposal for the duration of any contract term.
