Renovation of a library in Gurnee, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade library.

This project consists of interior renovations at Warren Newport Public Library. The work may be described as follows: General Trades Work, Painting Work, Flooring Work, Fire Protection Work, and Electrical Work. Bids for the respective packages are due prior to the indicated time. Bidders are required to familiarize themselves with the site and existing conditions prior to submitting a bid. Arrangements for visiting the site may be arranged by contacting SMC Construction Services. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate of the Base Bid and all Alternates, made payable to the Owner. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Bid. The successful bidder shall furnish sufficient insurance or guarantee of indemnity to the Owner, Architect, and Construction Manager against any and all claims which might arise for damages to persons or property due to the negligence of himself, his employees, or agents during the construction. This project is subject to the State of Illinois Prevailing Wage requirements for Lake County. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or portions thereof, award contracts based upon its investigation of bidders, and waive any informalities or minor irregularities in bids or the bidding procedure at its discretion.
