Site work and paving for a road / highway in Caldwell, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
This project includes the installation of median curbs and miscellaneous items at six Union Pacific railroad crossings in Caldwell: 5th Ave, Kimball Ave, 9th Ave, 12th Ave, 21st Ave, and Linden St. All crossings include traffic control, railroad flagging, permits, and coordination with Union Pacific Railroad. Bidder agrees that this project will be substantially complete by June 1, 2026, and fully operational by or before June 8, 2026. Substantial completion requires all work described in the contract to be fully completed. Final completion requires the contractor to have all aspects of the project 100% completed and approved by the City, including all punchlist items, clean up, stockpile and BMP removal, and equipment removal, leaving all areas within the project boundaries in a neat, clean state. Bidder will furnish all material, equipment, labor, taxes, permits, and all things necessary to complete the project for the unit prices as bid. All contractors submitting bids are required to have a valid Idaho Public Works License and to include the number on their submitted bid. Payment and performance bonds equal to the bid amount are required upon award of contract. Instructions to bidders are found in Section II of the contract documents in the attachments.
