Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade power facility.

The project consists of the design, procurement, furnishing, installation and commissioning of a fully functional rooftop photovoltaic solar system on the Public Library roof. Alternate #1 and Alternate #2 shall be bid on separately. Project includes all labor, equipment, materials and all work necessary to provide for a full, complete and correctly operating system. Pre-qualification: Required The Village of Whitefish Bay is soliciting proposals for design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of a roof-mounted Photovoltaic Solar System at the Whitefish Bay Public Library located at 5420 N. Marlborough Drive, Whitefish Bay, WI 53217. The contractor shall provide all needed equipment, meters, etc...to provide a full and complete operating system. The system will be designed to connect to the existing service entrance current transformer cabinet on the exterior of the Library building on Marlborough Drive. Note: Contractor to field verify size and type of existing WE Energies electrical service currently serving the Library. The goal is to offset energy use, demonstrate environmental leadership, and benefit from available incentives. The current estimated annual energy use is currently 218,907 kWh. Project construction is set to begin on December 29, 2025 with a May 15, 2026 final completion date The Village is requesting bids be received on two different Photovoltaic system designs. 1. Option #1: Provide a photovoltaic system for southwest and southeast facing roofs as indicated on drawings. Multiple arrays of modules to generate a minimum nominal 83.0 kW-DC. 2. Option #2: Provide a photovoltaic system on the southeast-facing roof of the main library, as indicated on drawings. Single array of modules to generate a minimum nominal 37.0 kW-DC. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
