Site work for a water / sewer project in Spencer, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Replacing existing lead and/or galvanized steel water service materials with new water service line materials between the existing water main and the water meter at 237 properties within the City of Spencer, Iowa. The project includes removal and replacement of existing street, driveway and sidewalk pavements and site restoration. The project is subject to labor standards and federal requirements included in the Contract Documents. Contractors shall comply with the requirements enumerated in the Required Front-End Specifications for SRF projects. Minimum wage rates to be paid are determined by the U.S. Department of Labor and are listed in the Contract Documents. The Contractor and Subcontractors will be required to comply with wage and labor requirements and pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates. Build America, Buy America (BABA) material requirements apply to this project.
