Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Draper, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Draper City is soliciting competitive proposals from qualified proposers to design, provide, and install a playground area for children 5-12 years of age. The contractor must secure the area from intrusion by children and adults during construction and installation, remove and dispose of existing playground equipment and contaminated engineered wood fiber (EWP), and handle the delivery and unloading of new playground equipment at the park site, including any interim storage needs. The contractor is responsible for purchasing and installing new playground equipment meeting all applicable use zones, replacing the top 6" minimum of any contaminated engineered wood fiber and adding additional EWP to reach proper depth per IPEMA standards, restoring any damaged landscaping, concrete, or other site improvements caused by construction, and documenting any pre-existing damage to improvements prior to the start of construction (photos or videos).
