Renovation of a municipal facility in Draper, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Questions Due Date: Jan 5th 2026, 3:00 PM MST Online Portal Only contractors who have been prequalified under a Stage I Prequalification for Contractors and are currently on the respective DFCM Prequalified Contractors list as of the date of this solicitation are eligible to bid on this project. The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting bids for the referenced project: Project Description: This shall include: The removal and replacement of 8 packaged rooftop units. Gas, Electrical, and Controls connections shall be replaced and units shall be selected to minimize roofing work and eliminate curb adapters. Work shall also include the removal and replacement of two high capacity direct exchange VAV air handling units. These shall be provided with new gas connections, electrical service, controls, and also minimize roofing work. All units shall be provided with factory start up and test and balance. Substantial Completion Date: June 30, 2026 Liquidated Damages: $600.00 per day A bid bond properly signed by the Contractor and a qualified surety and submitted on the AIA Document A310 - 2010 Bid Bond form in the amount of 5% of the bid, must accompany the bid submitted within online The Division of Facilities Construction and Management reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal or bid in the best interest of the State. The Contractor is required to provide performance and payment bonds on the AIA Document A312 - 2010 Performance and Payment Bond Forms (or equivalent) in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum and secured from a company that meets the requirements specified in UAR 23-1-1102. The Contractor shall comply with and require all subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah. A. Includes - 1. Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the completion of the mechanical and plumbing scope of work. 2. Furnish and install all motors specified in this Division and be responsible for the proper operation of electrical powered equipment furnished by this Division. 3. Furnish exact location of electrical connections and information on motor controls to Division 26. 4. Mechanical Contractor shall obtain the services of independent Test and Balance Agency. 5. Placing the air conditioning, heating, ventilating, and exhaust systems into full operation and continuing their operation during each working day of testing and balancing. 6. Making changes in pulleys, belts, and dampers, or adding dampers, as required for the correct balance as recommended by Balancing Contractor at no additional cost to Owner. 7. Air balance, final adjustment and test run. 8. The satisfactory performance of the completed systems is a requirement of this specification. B. Related Work Specified Elsewhere 1. Conduit, line voltage wiring, outlets, and disconnect switches specified in Division 26. 2. Magnetic starters and thermal protective devices (heaters) not a factory mounted integral part of packaged equipment are specified in Division 26.
