Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Moretown, Vermont. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
The scope of work includes the following at each site: removal of the temporary bridge, demolition of old bridge abutments, construction of new cast-in-place concrete footers, abutments, and wingwalls, installation of a new rolled girder bridge with concrete decking (65-foot span at Randell Road, 60-foot span at Airport Road), rock armoring, roadway construction, and associated work. Instructions to bidders: PDF sets of the bidding documents are available free of charge from East Engineering, PLC, Richmond, Vermont. Partial sets of bidding documents will not be available. The Owner and Engineer will not be responsible for full or partial sets of documents obtained from sources other than the issuing office. There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference at the Randell Road, Bridge 19 site, and bids will not be accepted from bidders that do not attend this conference.
