Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Red Bank, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; and one-story above grade road / highway.
**As of December 09, 2025, the project was awarded to Fernandes Construction, Inc., with an awarded amount of $257,601.91** The scope of work includes milling and full width resurfacing with base course repairs as directed, installation of ADA accessible curb ramps, installation of concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, installation of ADA crosswalks, installation of traffic signing and striping, installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons, as well as all other work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the project, whether or not specifically described in the contract documents. All work on this contract shall be completed within 30 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Bid packets must be completed in the designated manner, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name and address and the project name, and addressed to the Borough Clerk. Bid packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company authorized to do business in New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, not to exceed $20,000. The successful bidder is required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of the project. The award of contract is contingent upon the provision of necessary funds by the Borough. Vendors currently suspended, debarred, or disqualified are excluded from participation. The successful bidder must comply with all statutory requirements referenced in the contract documents and plans. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bid packets to the extent permitted by law.
