Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Tipton County, Indiana will receive sealed bids for the purchase of the following materials, equipment, supplies and related services for the Tipton County Highway Department for the calendar year 2026. Each bid category must be enclosed in a separate envelope and must have the bid category indicated on the outside of the envelope. All bids are to be submitted on the forms provided and attached a fully executed Form 95 as prescribed by the Indiana State Board of Accounts. All bids for materials must conform to current INDOT Standard Specifications. All bidders on service and equipment shall also be required to carry Workman's Compensation and Employee's Liability Insurance in amounts and with companies satisfactory to the Board. In addition, all bidders are required to carry Comprehensive Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance. Bids must conform to the categories and items as provided by the specifications as follows: Category A - Bids for Bituminous Mixtures Category B - Bids for Aggregates Category C - Bids for Culvert Pipe. The Tipton County Board of Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids or award to the most responsible and responsive bidder, all to the advantage of Tipton County.
