Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work required in the construction of the Betchan-King Sewer Rehabilitation and other improvements incidental thereto. This project involves the replacement of approximately 2,005 linear feet of existing 8-inch and 6-inch sanitary sewer lines on Betchan Drive, and approximately 2,118 linear feet of existing 8-inch and 6-inch sanitary sewer lines on Kings Manor Dr via pipe bursting method. Bidders shall submit proposals in sealed envelopes upon the blank form of bid furnished. Proposals shall be sent to the Lake Cities Municipal Utility Authority. Sealed envelopes must be marked accordingly. No proposal may be changed, amended or modified after the deadline, but proposals may be withdrawn and resubmitted anytime prior to the deadline. Security in the form of Cashier's Check, Bid Bond or other negotiable instrument in the amount of 5% of the greatest amount bid must accompany each proposal as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the selected offeror will promptly enter into a contract and execute bonds and insurance as outlined in the specifications and Instructions to Bidders. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS and contract documents may be examined without charge at the Utility Authority. Copies are available for purchase online at CivCast. The City may contract with the offeror meeting all qualifications and specifications who submits a proposal that offers the best value to the City, considering the selection criteria and weighted value in the Instruction to Bidders and the ranking evaluation of proposals received. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities in submission of proposals. In cases of ambiguity or unclear bid prices, the Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof. No proposal may be withdrawn within forty-five days after the date on which proposals are opened. QA date - 12-5-2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
