Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; one-story above grade road / highway; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
**As of January 26, 2026, the project was awarded to Bolder Contractors Inc, with an awarded amount of $5,333,940.35** This project includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: pavement removal; preparation of base; water main replacement and related appurtenances via open-cut methods; water service lines; storm sewer improvements and spot repairs; curb and gutter, and sidewalk removal and replacement at various locations; hot-mix asphalt binder and surface course(s); parkway restoration; and other appurtenant work for a total distance of 1.13 miles on Belmar Lane, Belmar Court, Ridgefield Lane, Indian Spring Lane, and Dunham Lane in the Village of Buffalo Grove. Contractor pre-qualification and subcontractor pre-qualification/registration with the Illinois Department of Transportation is required. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, Bank Cashier's Check or Certified Check in the amount of five percent of the total bid amount made payable to the Village of Buffalo Grove shall accompany the bid. This work is subject to the wage provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Projects Act relative to prevailing wages of laborers, mechanics, and other workers employed in any Public Works as amended by Public Acts 86799 and 86693. The Village of Buffalo Grove reserves the right to reject any and all bids and bidders and to waive all technicalities. All bid proposals submitted shall be valid for a period of one hundred twenty days. The Village reserves the right to award to any bidder based on negotiation with any and all bidders after receipt of bids. All bids are to be submitted electronically through the Village’s procurement website.
