The City of Columbia Falls, Montana, will receive sealed bids for the Pinewood Aquatic Center Condensing Boiler Replacement Project. The bid consists of furnishing and installing one (1) new commercial-grade condensing boiler system (Lochinvar Aquas or approved equal), including all necessary removal, mechanical, electrical, and control integration work required for a complete and operational system at the Pinewood Aquatic Center located in Pinewood Park Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The security must consist of cash, a cashier's check, a certified check, a bank money order, a certificate of deposit, a money market certificate, or a bank draft, and must be issued by a federally or state-chartered bank, savings and loan association insured by the FDIC, or credit union insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, or a bid bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Montana. The bid security must be signed by an individual authorized to submit the security on behalf of the entity submitting the bid. Prevailing Wages, as set forth in MCA Title 18, Chapter 2, Part 4, apply to all labor performed under this contract. The City will accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid, but reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities or informalities, and to accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the City.
