The Chickasaw Neighborhood Sidewalk Repairs project will include replacement of sidewalks and entrances on approximately 10 residential blocks from Cecil Ave to South 35th St, between West Broadway and Garland Ave, near the Shawnee Library. All other subcontractors must be prequalified when accepting subcontracts. Bidder is required to furnish a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid. Bidder is required to furnish a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of its Total Bid. This may be in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check. No personal checks will be accepted. The Bid Bond shall be supplied at the time of the Bid opening. The successful Bidder must submit a performance bond satisfactory to the Metro Government executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Kentucky, or otherwise supplied, satisfactory to the Metro Government, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as it may be increased. The successful Bidder must submit a payment bond satisfactory to the Metro Government, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Kentucky, or otherwise supplied, satisfactory to the Metro Government, for the protection of all persons supplying labor and material to the Bidder or its subcontractors for the performance of the work provided for in this Bid. The bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the original contract price.
