Site work and new construction of a religious / funeral development in East Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade religious / funeral development; and for site work for a religious / funeral development.
Fondulac Township is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the construction of one or more columbaria to contain no fewer than forty-eight (48) single and/or double niches. The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the design, fabrication, and construction process, including site preparation, foundation work, construction of the columbarium structure(s), and obtaining any necessary permits. The project will be located at the Fondulac Township Cemetery at 143 Arnold Street, East Peoria, Illinois, 61611. All requirements listed in the specifications must be met. Sealed proposals shall be labeled "Columbarium Construction Bid" and submitted by U.S. Mail to the office of Fondulac Township. Any prior informal quotes or documentation are not sufficient; a sealed bid must be submitted. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, waive technicalities and irregularities, and may request interviews with top scoring proposals before making a final selection. The contract is subject to requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, and the contractor must submit monthly certified payroll records and comply with the Act.
