Renovation of an educational facility in East Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids for replacement of two chillers WORK consists generally of the replacement of two chillers. One chiller is located on the East Peoria Campus in the AIT chiller room, and the other chiller is located on the Peoria Campus in the Dogwood Hall chiller room. Refrigerant detection and controls will also be upgraded as part of this project. Bids will be received for completion of entire project under a single Mechanical Contract, which will include Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Controls, and other Miscellaneous Work. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Owner, in the amount of 5% of the bid sum. Commencement of the work on the project shall be subject to the discretion of the Board of Trustees, ILLINOIS CENTRAL COLLEGE, EAST PEORIA, ILLINOIS. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 45 calendar days from due date. Question Deadline 02/27/2026 Submit all questions about the drawings and specifications to the Engineer in writing. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. The Owner anticipates a letter of intent to award the contract on Friday, March 19th, 2026. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
