Sealed bids are requested for the OVERFLOW PARKING LOTS 6 & 7 PAVEMENT REHABILITATION project. All bidders must be able to submit, if requested, an Illinois Department of Transportation Pre-qualification Statement prior to the award. Failure to submit this pre-qualification statement within 24 hours of request may result in rejection of the bid. Every bid must include two completed copies of Bid Documents and a bid guarantee (bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check) made payable to City of East Peoria in the amount of five percent of the total bid. Failure to submit the required bid guarantee is cause for rejection. Work may begin as early as May 6th, 2026, and must be substantially completed on or before June 12th, 2026. Bids are subject to the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act." The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids as deemed in its best interest.
