Sealed bids will be received for the Pinecrest Drive Pavement Patching - Phase III project. Pavement Removal, Special , Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Removal, 2.5" , Combination Curb and Gutter Removal , Island Pavement Removal, Special , . P.C.C. Pavement Patch with Reinforcement, 9.5", Combination Concrete Curb and Gutter, Type B-6.24 , Bridge Approach Pavement , Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course IL 9.5 N50, 2.0" (Polymer Surface) , Polymerized Leveling Binder (Machine Method), IL-4.75, N50, 0.5" , Hot-Mix Asphalt Full Depth Pavement Patch, Inlet/Inlet Manhole Repair, Complete , Gas Valve Vaults to be Adjusted All bidders must be able to submit, if requested, an Illinois Department of Transportation Pre-qualification Statement prior to awarding the project. Failure to submit this statement within 24 hours of a request may result in rejection of the bid. Each bid must include two completed copies of the Bid Documents and a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the City of East Peoria, in the amount of five percent of the total bid. Failure to provide the required bid bond or check may be cause for bid rejection. Bids must be held good and may not be withdrawn for 60 calendar days from the due date. The project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids if it is deemed to serve the best interest of the City. Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications, are available for review at designated locations. Commencement of the work on the project may begin as early as May 6th, 2026. The project shall be substantially completed on or before July 3rd , 2026(The date of readiness for final payment shall be two weeks (14 calendar days) from the date of Substantial Completion and shall be in accordance with paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions.
