Sealed bids are requested for multiple bid packages related to the construction of secure entrances at Lincoln School, Wilson School, and Bolin School. Bids must be submitted to the Board of Education at East Peoria School District #86. Any bid exceeding $35,000 must include bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to East Peoria School District #86 for five percent of the bid amount. The form of performance and payment bond is subject to District counsel approval. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty days after opening; withdrawal within this period will result in forfeiture of the bid bond and possible penalties or damages to the District. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, waive informalities or errors, and accept the bid deemed most favorable. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder meeting the specifications, with award notice provided after Board action.
