Ingham ISD is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive network refresh for the Ingham Intermediate School District (ISD), specifically for the Thorburn Education Center Building (TEC) and Wilson Talent Center (WTC). This project includes the replacement and upgrade of aging network switching infrastructure and wireless access points to support modern educational technology requirements, enhance network performance, security, and reliability. The awarded contractor will conduct a comprehensive site survey of both the TEC Building and Wilson Talent Center to determine optimal placement of network equipment, perform wireless RF analysis to identify coverage requirements and potential interference issues, develop a detailed migration plan, create network diagrams showing the proposed solution architecture, and develop a project implementation timeline that minimizes disruption to educational activities. The contractor will provide network switching equipment and wireless access points meeting or exceeding specified requirements, ensure cable color codes and labeling are followed, and conduct thorough testing of each Ethernet connection. Documentation, testing, training, warranty support, and optional post-implementation support are also required, along with a minimum 5-year warranty on installed equipment.
