Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Cerritos, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade theater / auditorium.
**As of January 9, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work or improvement consists of providing all labor, material, tools, and equipment necessary to reroof the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts located at 18000 Park Plaza Drive, Cerritos, CA 90703. The roofing materials identified in the project specifications as City-supplied under CMAS Contract No. 4-20-56-0006B will be provided by the City of Cerritos, and contractors should exclude these materials from their bid pricing. All bids must be made on the form furnished by the City. Bids that are not received in the Office of the City Clerk by the deadline will not be considered. Bids must be clearly marked with "BID CONSTRUCTION OF CERRITOS CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS ROOF REPLACEMENT, PROJECT NO. 12706, BID NO. 1567-25 - DO NOT OPEN" and will be publicly read aloud at the scheduled time in the Office of the City Clerk. Any and all requests for substitutions of "an equal" material, process, or equipment and all supporting materials shall be submitted to the City of Cerritos on the following BIDDER SUBSTITUTION REQUEST FORM by 9:00 a.m., Friday, December 5, 2025
