Work of the Project includes construction of a single floor, 6,869 sq. ft. fire station. Construction type is made up of pre-engineered metal building, concrete block, wood stud framing with split-face block veneer construction, metal standing seam roof and slab on grade. No site work is included in this project. This is building package only. All site work will be completed under separate contract. All project documents, drawings and specifications are the property of the Owner, Architect and their agents. Unauthorized use of any kind, including electronic versions published by outside sources, is strictly prohibited. The Owner, Architect and their agents will not be held liable for any content published by others relating to this project. As such, it is the Contractor, Subcontractor, Vendor or Supplier's responsibility to perform due diligence when obtaining project information. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Base Bid. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders. Submit your Bid on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. Bids will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. The Murray County Municipality encourages participation by minority businesses to submit bids for this construction project. The Owner shall award public contracts without regard to race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age or handicapping condition. The Owner Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any and All Bids and to Award the Contracts in the Best Interest of the Owner.
