The project consists of the supply, installation, resting and the commissioning of the Communication s and Weather Equipment for the Valdosta Regional Airport Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) as detailed in technical specifications. Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, shipping and equipment and perform all work required for the installation, wiring, connecting, adjusting, testing, commissioning, and training and warranting all items detailed in these specifications, field wiring, punch down and distribution blocks, racks, grounding, and control systems for the ATCT Electronics Equipment within the ATCT. It is the contractors' full responsibility to deliver a fully operational communications system that is in compliance with the FAA Minimum Equipment List per the technical specifications. Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with same. Construction contract time for Outfit Replacement Airport Traffic Control Tower - Communications and Weather Equipment will be completed within 60 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The Valdosta - Lowndes County Airport Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to reject any or all bids or to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Owner's best interests.
