For the project known as: Valdosta Regional Airport Schedule A: Taxiway M Improvements And Schedule B: North Ramp Taxilane System Improvements The OWNER of the project is the Valdosta-Lowndes County Airport Authority. The Engineer/Architect for the project is Holt Consulting Company, LLC. The approximate extent and character of the work is generally described as follows: Schedule A: Taxiway M Improvements: Bid shall consist of re-construction and widening to Taxiway M between Runway 17-35 and previously reconstruction portion of Taxiway M included in the Commerical Terminal Apron project (approximately 3,035 square yards). This scope will include but is not limited to removal of the asphalt pavement section, re-construction and widening of the asphalt taxiway section to current FAA standards, update marking and electrical elements as necessary, installation of minor drainage structures, grassing, and erosion control. Bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required. Bidders must submit bids for all Bid Items. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of One Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days. Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with same. Downloaded documents may then be printed at any reprographics company convenient to the bidders. Construction contract time for Schedule B: North Ramp Taxilane System Improvements, if awarded, will be completed within Eighteen(18) consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The total construction contract time for all schedules, if awarded, will be completed within Forty-Nine (49) consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. This project is funded under provision of the Airport and Airway Safety and Capacity Act of 1987.
