Site work for an educational facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
This project included site preparation and installation of an existing Greenhouse on the BCTC Leestown Campus. The greenhouse hoop structure and enclosure membrane are to be owner provided and owner installed. The Contractor will need to prep the site for the installation of the structure by BCTC and will need to coordinate closely for the construction of the wood end wall conditions as well as the MEP connections and installation. Estimated Length of Project: 45 (Substantial Completion) + 30 (Final Completion) All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee (in the form of a bid bond or certified check) of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the lump sum base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and a separate 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Bonds should be executed by a surety company authorized to do business by the Kentucky Secretary of State and the Kentucky Department of Insurance within the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Kentucky Community & Technical College System reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Commonwealth may be served.
