This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation ("HHSC") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the Boiler System Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). The intent of this RFP is to retain qualified and licensed boiler maintenance service providers to provide inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance and repair services for HHSC's boiler plants which includes the following boiler types: Water-tube steam boilers; Hot-water boilers; and Condensing boilers. The services are to be performed in full compliance with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal codes, standards, and regulations, as well as within the healthcare-specific operational and safety requirements for critical infrastructure systems. The objective is to ensure the safe, reliable, efficient, and compliant operation of all boiler equipment that supports HHSC's and patient care services where inspections will be required at seasonal times during the Spring, Autumn, and Winter with some minor mid-season quarterly inspection points. The proponent shall be available on a 24/7/365 basis for all emergency repair services. HHSC intends to multi-award this RFP where proponents have the option to bid on one (1) or all hospital sites. Selection of award will be based on those who receive the highest ranked score for the non-priced criteria's and highest score for Pricing per hospital site.
