Wharton-Smith, Inc., the Construction Manager at Risk for Union County on the construction of the South Piedmont Regional Autopsy Center project located adjacent to the Union County Sheriff's Office at 3370 Presson Road, Monroe, NC 28112 will be accepting bids from pre-qualified vendors/bidders for the direct equipment purchase of the Emergency Generator, ATS and Main Switchgear/Switchboard. The project scope includes a new 15,000 square feet autopsy and administration facility and associated site work and site improvements. The project is estimated to have approximately a 14-month schedule starting in August 2026 through October 2027. Bid Package for the early procurement include, but are not limited to: Generator, Automatic Transfer Switch and Main Switchgear/Switchboard Wharton-Smith reserves the right to modify the above bid packages as needed. Only Bids from Prequalified firms will be accepted. All bids will be opened and read aloud. The Construction Manager and Owner reserve the right to reject any and all bids received.
