Renovation of an educational facility in Fremont, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for all work categories related to the Pathfinder Elementary Unit Ventilator Replacement project for Fremont Public Schools. Proposals must include a completed trade contractor proposal form, bid security, and affidavits as specified. All contractors submitting bids must be bondable and should include the cost for furnishing a Co-Obligee Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Co-Obligee Performance Bond, along with a separate deduction should bonds not be required. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or bid bond payable to The Christman Company, in an amount no less than five percent (5%) of the base bid, as bid security. A pre-bid conference at Pathfinder Elementary School is strongly recommended for all bidders. All questions should be directed to the Construction Manager; direct contact with the Owner or Architect is not allowed. Proposals must remain valid for sixty days after the bid date. The Owner, Architect, and Construction Manager reserve the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all proposals, or accept any proposal in their best interest.
