Remodeling of a clubhouse / community center in Cloverdale, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a clubhouse / community center.
Proposers must submit one (1) hard copy bid enclosed in a sealed envelope with the bid event number and bid project name clearly marked on the envelope. Bids must be received no later than the date and time specified in the schedule above. The official time for submission will be determined by the clock displayed on the lobby's monitor. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the Cloverdale Veterans Memorial Building Kitchen Path of Travel & Access Improvements in accordance with the plans, specifications, and requirements provided by the County of Sonoma. The work shall include, but is not limited to: Mobilization and Site Preparation Obtain and post all necessary permits and approvals prior to construction. Implement site safety measures, barricades, and signage to protect building occupants and the public. Prepare work areas in coordination with County staff to minimize disruption to building operations. Path of Travel Improvements Modify or reconstruct interior path of travel elements to comply with current ADA accessibility standards. Access Improvements to Kitchen and Associated Spaces Modify entryways, doors, and circulation spaces to achieve ADA compliance, including clearances, hardware, and maneuvering space. Perform work in kitchen area to ensure accessible approach and operation for intended users. Coordinate with County to work around scheduled veteran events or community functions. Coordination with Regulatory Agencies Address conditions set forth by PRMD and Fire Review, including resolution of the outstanding fire-related condition prior to final permit approval. Implement changes or clarifications as directed by County Project Manager based on agency feedback. Quality Control and Compliance Perform all work in accordance with approved plans, California Building Code, ADA regulations, and applicable County standards. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area throughout construction. Conduct inspections and testing as required to verify compliance. Project Closeout Complete punch list items and final adjustments to the County's satisfaction. Provide as-built documentation, warranties, and operation/maintenance manuals as applicable. Restore all disturbed areas to their original or improved condition. A California Class B contractor's license is required to Bid this Contract and through the completion of the project. All contractors and subcontractors shall be properly licensed by the Contractor's State Licensing Board and possess the necessary license classifications for the work they perform under this project. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The successful Bidder must comply with all prevailing wage laws applicable to the Project, and related requirements contained in the Contract Documents. Copies of the general prevailing rates of per diem wages for each craft, classification, or type of worker needed to execute the Contract, as determined by Director of the State of California Department of Industrial Relations, are on file at https://www.dir.ca.gov/public- works/prevailing-wage.html. All questions pertaining to the Bid are to be submitted to the County's Project Manager Lance Lameyse via email Lance.lameyse@sonomacounty.gov with; "Event ID 2100 Cloverdale Vets Kitchen Path of Travel & Access Improvements Capital Project Number: CP40023AM - Questions" in the subject line, no later than 5:00PM on Thursday , December 04, 2025. After the deadline no further questions will be accepted. The County will supply responses by 5:00PM on Friday, December 12, 2025, through the online portal. Project No. 2100
