SCOPE OF WORK The project includes the reconstruction of the front porch (due to structural damage), the replacement of the porch roof, the repair of the handicap-accessible ramp, and the renovation of the kitchen floor. 1. The contractor shall be responsible for all licensing and permitting fees. 2. The contractor shall be responsible for all site protection and cleaning. 3. The project shall be completed and closed out within sixty (60) calendar days of the "Notice to Proceed." 4. The contract will be a lump sum contract. One (1) pay request shall be submitted after final project approval from the Parks & Recreation Director. Colleton County, South Carolina requests bids from qualified, licensed contractors for renovations at the Ruffin Community Center, located at 7745 Ruffin Road, Ruffin, SC 29475. Answers to all questions will be posted on the County website as addenda to this bid. This solicitation does not commit Colleton County to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of bids submitted, or to procure or contract for the services. The County reserves the right to accept or reject, or cancel in part, or in its entirety, offers received because of this request if deemed to be in the best interest of the County to do so. BONDS: Payment and Performance Bonds are not required for this request for bids.
