SCOPE OF WORK The work to be done consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, performance, etc., of all work included in this Contract. Working includes constructing a complete and properly functioning system, materials testing, maintenance of vehicular access throughout construction, project restoration, operation and maintenance manual preparation, and record drawing preparation. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, and incidentals to complete all work required by these Specifications and as shown on the Drawings. The Contractor shall perform the work complete, in place, and ready for continuous service, and shall include repairs, testing, permits, clean-up, replacements, and restoration required as a result of damages caused during this construction. The Contractor shall supply the necessary items which includes proper construction warning signs, Variable Message Boards (VMBs), lighting devices, markings, fencing, and barricades for the project area. The Contractor shall be responsible for installation and maintenance of all devices and requirements for the duration of the construction period This project consists of converting the existing potable water ground storage tank into a wastewater equalization tank, and replacement of associated piping and appurtenances as needed. The work of this Contract consists of furnishing all material, labor, equipment, etc., necessary for the general construction of the following, as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein Demolition of existing piping, valves, pumps, electrical equipment, 45 instrumentation, and various elements of the existing water storage tank; Installation of the Off-site Force Main; Coating of the interior of the existing 200,000-gal water storage tank; Equalization Tank Return Pump Station, us associated Piping and Valves; Tank Spray System, plus associated Piping and Valves; Yard Piping, Valves and Appurtenances; Instrumentation and SCADA Improvements; Standby Diesel Generator and Electrical Improvements; Site Restoration.
