Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.

This project includes the renovation of existing Lecture Theatre 1031 at Etherington Hall and includes accessibility upgrades and updated finishes. The primary aspect of this project includes the removal of the existing AV Room and the creation of an accessible viewing platform that is level with the upper entrance. Additional upgrades include replacing two (2) doors and frames, the installation of three (3) new Automatic Door Operators, and relocating the power and data for the lecture podium. Aesthetic upgrades include all new paint on walls and ceilings, new flooring for the new platform and lower level of the room, and all new ceiling fixtures including lights, diffusers, and grilles.
