The Village of Glenview, on behalf of the Glenview Public Safety Dispatch Center (GPSDC), is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for professional Geographic Information System (GIS) services. Offers may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after closing date without the consent of the Board of Trustees. Any Bid submitted unsigned, via mail, via in person delivery, via fax, via email or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and time, may be disqualified and returned to the bidder. The Village of Glenview reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in proposal procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the Village. It is the intent of the Village, on behalf of the Glenview Public Safety Dispatch Center (GPSDC), to solicit proposals from qualified firms for professional Geographic Information System (GIS) services. GPSDC operates two consolidated Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) serving approximately 270,000 residents across 16 communities and 22 public-safety agencies in Cook and Lake Counties. The successful proposer will maintain, enhance, and coordinate ongoing GIS data management supporting the Tyler Technologies Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system and associated applications, including Rave Alert and other integrated systems. The term of this contract shall be one-year with one optional two-year extension. Any extensions beyond that timeframe shall be the duty of the Village to approve. The Contractor's start date will be agreed upon by and with the Village. Award will be made to the Proposer who is best qualified to perform in accordance with the terms and conditions of the specifications including the evaluation criteria specified herein. The Village reserves the right to award the Bid in part or in whole or not award any portion of the bid, whatever is deemed to be in the best interest of the Village. The Village further reserves the right to award to multiple contractors and to reject any or all bids.
